This type of ad tailoring – sometimes called “interest-based” or “online behavioral” advertising – is enabled through various technologies, including browser cookies, mobile advertising identifiers as well as other non-cookie technologies.
Our user’s privacy is our utmost priority and we have developed this new app to provide more control and transparency to the user’s privacy. Now the users have an option to opt-out of interest-based advertising. The user if decides to proceed with the opt-out process will not be targeted with relevant ads and the Chalk Digital platform will stop storing the user’s data or sell the data to any third parties. If the user decides to opt-out of Chalk’s interest-based advertising and submits the request, the user will still see ads, however, they might not be relevant or will not be based on the user’s interest.
